Ficaria verna 'Brazen Hussey'
This form of lesser celandine is more decorative than its wild relative, but just as likely to spread itself around. Fortunately the neat rosettes of glossy, blackish-bronze leaves and contrasting bright yellow flowers are usually welcome additions to damp shadein the early spring, and they disappear completely during the summer.
