Choose this year's tomatoes

It's time to think about what tomatoes you are growing this year; there are cherry, hanging basket, beefsteak and salad; pink, red, orange, black, striped... but perhaps you could get together with some friends (or your local garden club or allotment group) if you want to try a range of different cultivars? How many tomato plants do you realistically have space for?
