Other berries are extremely purple

There are other berries which are unbelievably, eye-wateringly, artificially purple. Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii 'Profusion' is a lanky deciduous shrub which carries strings of berries like purple plastic beads on its bare branches. It is an acquired taste.
