Viticella 'Purpurea Plena Elegans'

There are a few double viticella clematis - 'Purpurea Plena Elegans' is not as strong-growing as others but has an AGM; it is a rather plummy shade of purple. 'Mary Rose' (also called 'Flore Pleno') is a bluer shade, first described in the 1500s, but not easy to find.
