Campanula carpatica

There are many different forms of alpine bellflower -the commonest is Campanula portenschlagiana, the very vigorous Dalmatian campanula - this summer-flowering Carpathian species is a useful ground cover in sun or partial shade, and a lot easier to spell. There are two seed-raised strains which are generally found in garden centres - 'White Clips' and 'Blue Clips' .
