Kerria japonica 'Golden Guinea'
If the pom-pom flowers of Kerria 'Pleniflora' don't appeal, try 'Golden Guinea' - an attractive cultivar with large, single bright yellow flowers (rather like hypericum). Kerrias flower on young growth so thin after flowering to encourage new stems.
