Live with your nettles

Perennial nettle Urtica dioica is now producing lots of young healthy shoots; it may be a weed if it is in your borders, but on the edge of your garden it's a valuable food source for butterflies, an indicator of fertile soil and a good compost accelerator - as well as a tasty vegetable.
