Oenothera lindheimeri

Gaura is another plant that has suffered from botanical revisions in recent years, and now students of horticulture have a different name to wrestle with, linking the delicate and airy wands of white blossom with the more substantial but transitory blooms of evening primrose. The red flush to stems and flower bases, sometimes even saeen as leaf spots on O.Lindheimeri, is one similarity between the two plants.
