Passiflora tripartita var. mollisima

Formerly Passiflora mollisima, the banana passionfruit is native to the Andes, and the fruit has been cultivated in South America for centuries. It is grown in the UK as a tender ornamental climber - suitable for  a container in a sheltered spot, and given protection over the winter.  This specimen was in a pot at Hinton Ampner in Hampshire.
