Caryopteris x clandonensis

This is a neat small deciduous shrub which has toothed greyish green leaves which are strongly aromatic; the blue flowers are late summer/autumn magnets for bees and butterflies. Some cultivars have more intense blue flowers, and there is one unfortunate form with golden leaves.
