Epilobium canum

'California fuchsia' is yet another plant which has been reclassified recently according to its DNA - the wiry drought-tolerant sub-shrub, with greyish leaves and vivid scarlet-orange trumpet flowers, is now a willowherb, Epilobium, but at least this is easier to spell than its former name Zauschneria californica!
