Kolkwitzia amabilis

The Beauty Bush is one of the earliest summer shrubs, its arching, twiggy branches covered with pale pink flowers with speckled yellow throats. It grows happily to 3m and needs thinning rather than a pruning 'tidy' to keep it in check and flowering well.
