Lysimachia clethroides
This a fast-growing, clump-forming perennial which usefully flowers slightly later than the other loosestrifes, in July and August. It has fresh green, pointed leaves, and white flowers on long, slender arching spikes which are supposedly reminiscent of a goose’s neck (hence the common name 'Goose-neck loosestrife'). It can look a little as if it is drooping sadly from lack of water, so be aware of this!
