Hamamelis x intermedia 'Arnold Promise'
Yellow-flowered witchhazels like this American cultivar (named for the Arnold Arboretum) generally have a stronger scent than the orange and red forms, and are more visible on dull winter days. These 'x intermedia' hybrids combine characteristics of Chinese and Japanese witchhazels and generally have longer petals.
