Salvia yangii 'Blue Spire' (Perovskia 'Blue Spire')

This is the best-known cultivar of Russian Sage, and it has now been moved into the true Sage family: the upright, ghostly grey stems are dusted with white powder, and its aromatic leaves are grey-green, with plumes of small lilac flowers in late summer and autumn.
