Flower shapes help identification (2)

All of the family Brassicaceae have the same flower shape , a simple four petal form arranged in a  cross ( an earlier name for the group was Cruciferae to reflect this). It helps you to recognise the relationship between wallflowers and oilseed rape, Brussels Sprouts and  hairy bittercress.
