Linnaea x grandiflora

Better know as Abelia x grandiflora ,this large arching shrub gives really good 'value' in a late summer garden; glossy oval leaves are semi-evergreen, and the branches are smothered with pink funnel-shaped flowers for a month or more, each with a persistent calyx of red sepals.
