Cosmos sulphureus

Mexican cosmos is a late-summer annual, just as easy to grow as the pastel shades but in hot vibrant oranges and yellows. Flowers are single or semi-double, growing on stocky and well-branched stems with fine-cut ferny foliage. It won't come into flower before mid-summer as it is triggered into flowering by the balance between daylight hours and hours of darkness.
