Borago officinalis

Annual borage or star flower is a relative of comfrey and it has many of its properties as a compost activator; it can be used as a green manure because it is annual, and made into a plant tonic because it contains potassium. In the summer (if we have one) the flowers can be floated in a jug of Pimms or frozen into ice cubes.
