Watch for moles

Watch out for moles - or at least, signs of their presence! These shrew-sized mammals are rarely seen above ground but they can dig 4m of tunnel in a day, moving massive amounts of soil for their size as they hunt for worms and insects underground. Their tunnels undermine lawns so that ground can collapse (especially when you are mowing) and the molehills ruin the grass.
