Corydalis solida 'George Baker'

This is a particularly striking form of corydalis, with brick red flowers in early spring. It doesn't spread easily and is rather tricky to establish, and because it dies down completely to its tuberous roots in summer, it is easy to forget where it is planted and damage it.  It needs a bit of extra care - perhaps in an alpine trough, to show it off properly.
