This is the hardiest eucalyptus for the UK; it makes a large, broadly pyramidal evergreen tree with smooth grey-pink to red-brown bark, peeling in large flakes. It will grow to 20m, but be careful where you site it; a tall evergreen can shed boughs in British winters. Coppicing is safer!
