Order fruit from specialists

This is the right time of year to order fruit and ornamental trees, as well as bush and cane fruit. You will get a much wider choice when you order from specialist nurseries rsather than buying on impulse from garden centres. It has been a relatively mild winter so nurseries may be a little late in lifting, if the trees didn't become dormant until late November, but this is better than a really hard winter where the machines cannot lift trees from the frozen ground.
