Look after succulents and cacti

Overwatering is the main worry with succulents and cacti; some forest epiphytes like Rhipsalis like to be misted occasionally and prefer moderate light levels; most succulents like Echeveria need very little watering and need bright light for most of the year. During the autumn and winter months, plants can withstand cool night temperatures of around 8°C to 10°C; in the spring and summer the plants need good ventilation, but will survive in high temperatures. A bigger danger at Christmas is the glitter spray, which Echeverias seem to attract.....
