Harvest your own Christmas vegetables

Today is the time to harvest if you've grown your own Christmas vegetables   -  parsnips haven't had a good frost in this wet autumn, but will be big enough to eat,  and brussels sprouts and red cabbage should be ready; there may even some late carrots and if you've been really organised a grow-bag of new potatoes planted in September. Enjoy your Christmas dinner!
