Hibiscus syriacus

Hibiscus are good shrubs for late summer colour on neutral and chalk soils. 'Hamabo' is a cultivar with exceptionally large blush-pink flowers, with a conspicuous red blotch at the base of each petal. Deadheading will help to keep the shrub looking at its best.
