Symphytum 'Hidcote Pink'
This ornamental comfrey is a useful ground cover, making a dense weed-smothering mat of coarse green leaves which is covered in spring with clusters of small pink and white tubular flowers. Cut it back hard after flowering to keep it within bounds.
