Clematis 'Gravetye Beauty'

Texensis cultivars are all hybrids from the American species C. texensis, a red form which is very hard to propagate but which hybridises fairly easily with others. 'Gravetye Beauty' is one of the richest red clematis, named for William Robinson's garden at Gravetye Manor.
