Codonopsis clematidea

Codonopsis clematidea

This perennial is not very common but it is hardy, and easy to grow, though sometimes devoured by slugs. It will scramble to about 60cm, or sprawl on a rockery. The delicate pale blue bell flowers have unexpected maroon markings inside - and a strong rather foxy odour.
