spot viburnum beetle larvae
20th June 2022
Larvae of viburnum beetles can turn V. tinus and V. opulus leaves into brown-edged lace curtains, eating away at all the green tissue between April and June. If you want to use a chemical spray like pyrethrum, best to do it at the first signs of damage - by late June the larvae will ove into the soil to pupate.
