Lysimachia punctata

Lysimachia punctata

This is a 'cottage garden favourite'  - which generally means it spreads, so you can dig up clumps and give them away quite readily.  The flowers are the same golden yellow as L. ciliata and L. nummularia, but this time held in spikes of flower from June to August. There is a  variegated variety, Lysimachia punctata ‘Variegata’ (or Lysimachia punctata ‘Alexander’).
