Siberian iris are easy plants, happy in a border or in damp soil, as long as they get a reasonable amount of sun. The species has violet-blue petals with strongly veined falls, but there are many attractive and very different cultivars like creamy white 'Butter and Sugar' or double 'Pink Parfait'.
