Before oilseed rape escaped into the wild, a very similar wildflower but with white flowers would crop up in hedgerows and gardens - a biennial just coming into flower at this time of year. You may know it as Jack-by-the-hedge or Garlic Mustard, and it will seed freely if you don't pull out the tall stems now.
