Deadhead daffodils

As daffodil flowers go over, it is important to deadhead them to prevent energy being put into seedheads instead of back into the bulb for next year's flowering. The green stems will carry on photosynthesising until they wither with the leaves, so ideally just nip off the flower heads and leave the stalks.
