Shrubs will bounce back after frost damage

The early wisteria which was completely ravaged by an unexpectedly severe frost may have lost all of its flowerbuds, but behind the shrivelled buds the lower buds are breaking - leaves will unfurl next, with a few flowers which were almost ready to emerge when the frost hit, but then in another month or so there should be more flowers again.
