Drop tomato seedlings

If tomato seedlings have become too leggy before you get a chance to prick them out, you can place them into their pots or modules quite deeply - tomatoes are quite robust and they will form roots on their stems. If the compost is damp it will be easier to 'dib' a hole down to the bottom of the module and drop the seeling right down before you firm it in carefully.
