Helleborus (Rodney Davey Marbled Group) ' Sally's Shell'

This is one of the Ashwood Nurseries' hybrids, in the same group as 'Anna's Red' and 'Penny's Pink'; these are interspecific hybrids bred by Rodney Davey to combine striking marbled evergreen foliage with masses of flowers which face outward, not downward like traditional hellebores.
