Train repeat-flowering climbing roses

Prune last year's flowering side shoots of repeat-flowering climbing roses back by two thirds of their length; train the main stems as horizontally as possible (depending on the type of plant support) to encourage buds to break along the length of the stem. This rose 'New Dawn' at Morton Hall is trained in a circular pattern to maximise breaks for flowering.
