Cornus alba 'Kesselringii'

The black-stemmed dogwood makes a fourth colourful stem for winter contrasts - annual cutting will get the best winter colour and straightest stems. The optimum time to use stems for hardwood cuttings is early winter, but you may still get some success when you cut it back in late February.
