Not all early daffodils are due to global warming

This lonely daffodil is 'Early Sensation' , a mid-height daffodil whose main claim to fame is its extremely early flowering, before even the dwarf narcissus 'February Gold'. It is solitary because it shouldn't be in the front garden here - it was missed when the rest of the planting were dug up and moved to avoid too many conversations with neighbours about 'aren't the daffodils early this year?'
