Cornus alba 'Sibirica'

This is the time of year to enjoy the dogwoods, as the colourful stems glow in the low winter sun. Dogwoods thrive in moist soil and will happily put up with waterlogging in winter. Prune the red-stemmed 'Sibirica' hard, towards the end of February, and feed it to encourage strong growth.
