Thuja occidentalis 'Rheingold'

This slow-growing bushy conifer has golden foliage if it is planted in full sun, greenish gold if shaded. The colour can change in winter to a striking bronze tinge. Thujas all have a fruity scent if you scratch their foliage - this one smells of pineapple.
