Helleborus foetidus

'Stinking hellebore' is a rather depressing name for quite an attractive flower - if that sounds rather measured praise, it is a green flower - but an attractive one with arching lime-green flowers contrasting with heavy dark green foliage; it seeds itself around freely, especially in woodland conditions, but unwanted seedlings can easily be removed.
