Carex oshimensis 'Evergold'
The tough, evergreen leaves of this variegated sedge have a bright golden stripe down the middle; it is useful at the front of borders in partial shade (though Hillier Arboretum's contrast planting with the scarlet stems of cornus is a bit overdone) but it makes an excellent winter container plant.
