Monstera deliciosa

The Swiss Cheese plant is an evergreen vine which twines or trails with aerial roots to 5m in its native South America; its glossy green leaves, often up to a metre long, develop the characteristic perforations as they mature. Grown as a houseplant, it rarely develops the fruits which give it the name 'deliciosa'.
