make a wildlife corridor

make a wildlife corridor

A 'wildlife corridor'allows hedgehogs and other garden creatures to travel between gardens to forage and find mates. The 'corridor' relies on hedges and where there is fencing there need to be gaps in it to permit  'connectivity' between separated populations. The gaps don't have to be huge  (or the wildlife passing through will be dogs, muntjac etc) and often just a small gap in a gravel board, or the gap caused by uneven ground under the fence, is quite enough.
