Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus'
This is a upright deciduous grass with erect leaves, horizontally banded with cream or pale yellow; the flowerheads start pinkish and fade to cream, but the main beauty is this striking foliage. 'Zebrinus' is very similar but more arching in habit.
