Winds over the weekend were strong enough to do some damage to greenhouses and cold frames, especially those glazed with twinwall polycarbonate or acrylic sheet. which is strong but much lighter than horticultural glass. It is important to replace panes as quickly as possible to stabilise structures - once the wind can blow into a glasshouse, it's much more likely to suffer major damage.
