Appreciate anemone seedheads

At this time of year, an enthusiasm for tidying - clearing old stems and foliage from borders - can lead you to overlook some of the beauties of the plants as they 'go over' (or 'senesce' if you are studying RHS Plant Growth). Not the fragile and very temporary beauty of frost, because it's been a very mild autumn so far, but the forms of some of the seedheads: this anemone holds its seeds in a cloud of cotton wool, slowly unfurling on the stem.
