Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'

Ophiopogon( Black Mondo Grass) has strap-like leaves and looks good with grasses, but is not actually a grass itself. It has mauve flowers which are followed by glossy black berries. Plantlets spread to make dense clumps with fleshy storage rhizomes.
